 ELA Course Description

This year in ELA class, we will be utilizing two resources that the district has purchased; StudySync and Achieve3000.  Both of these resources will cover the PA Common Core Standards. 

Everyday I will post a new Daily Agenda Slide to the Google Classroom Stream.  This slide will let both parents and students know what is happening in ELA class that day.

Most assignments will be completed in ELA class.  Students will only have work to complete at home IF they are not being productive during class. 

 

Students are responsible for any assignment missed during an absence. Please check the Daily Agenda Slide if your child is absent, to see what assignment(s) need to be completed. Notes for absences should be submitted to the building secretary.  Jacqueline.hull-logsdon@casdonline.org

Grades will be updated weekly in Sapphire.  Grades for assignments will not be posted in Google Classroom. 

 

 

Required Materials  

Students will be expected to bring the following items daily:

  • Chromebook (charged daily)
  • Earbuds
  • Pencil
  • Binder
  • Agenda
  • Independent reading book
