All About Mrs. Kiskaddon's Classes

What will I be learning in Mrs. Kiskaddon's science class? Throughout this year we will be studying both Earth science and physical science. Physical science consists of matter, measuring matter, describing particles of matter, comparing solids, liquids, and gases, observing the behaviors of gases, creating physical and chemical changes,organizing the elements on the periodic table, motion, and Newton's Laws. Our Earth science unit focuses on soil composition, erosional forces, and much more. We will be discovering these concepts by engaging in experiments, labs and demonstrations while activating prior knowledge, building inquiry, drawing conclusions, and assessing what we have learned through a variety of tools.
