Mr. Richard Bricker
Mr. Richard Bricker was born and raised in Newville (PA) and graduated in 1992 from Big Spring High School. He earned the Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in percussion and a minor in piano performance. His primary music teachers included Dr. Gary Olmstead (percussion) and Dr. Judith Radell (piano).
Mr. Bricker also earned a Masters of Music Education from Duquesne University. In this graduate program, he authored a percussion method book.
He currently teaches at CAMS North middle school in Chambersburg as the Band Director. At CASD, he previously taught Elementary General music (Portico, Letterkenny, Gordy and Lurgan), Elementary Band, Faust Junior High school band and CASHS percussion.
His wife is Andrea Bricker (a 2nd grade teacher at Scotland Elementary). Noah, Liam and Emma and Drew (twins) are his pride and joy!!
